An End Once and For All
Shepard stood on the precipice of her death.
She was utterly drained. Physically, emotionally. She just stood. She was a husk herself.
Scraping influences roamed in the back of her head. But she just needed to breathe.
Breathe.
Shepard collapsed. Agonised, she sighed. It was all she felt she could do.
A crash was heard overhead. Only barely. Shepard couldn't really recognise much. The 'crash' was in fact the homage of the child speaking again, it urged her to get up, to choose.
She recognised, above all else, that word.
Choose Ashley or Kaiden.
Choose the Krogan's fate.
Choose the Geth or Quarians.
Choose,
Choose,
Choose.
'Why?'
